I’ve been to this trail a handful of times during my Arkansas road trips, and that west side parking lot is definitely the move! Anyone else notice how the morning mist creates those crazy reflections on the lake? Magical stuff. I’m planning to visit again next month – has anyone tried biking the full loop? Wondering if it gets crowded with walkers on weekends or if there’s enough space for everyone to coexist. Also, did they ever fix that section near the creek that always flooded after heavy rain? Last time I went (2022), I had to turn back and couldn’t complete the full loop because of water on the trail. Oh, and any recommendations for good picnic spots along the way? The pavilion is nice but I’d love to find a more secluded spot by the water if possible!
