Parking is refreshingly hassle-free here, with free parking lots and abundant street parking. If you’re relying on public transport, buses from Asunción to San Bernardino run regularly, especially on weekends and holidays. Once you arrive at the bus terminal, Mirador Bella Vista is a leisurely 15-minute walk—just enough to get a feel for the town.

Cyclists will find the mild incline up to the mirador rewarding, and there are safe places near the steps to lock up a bike before heading up.
