Description

If you’re looking for a spot that’s easy on accessibility, this park has you covered. The entrance and parking lot are wheelchair-friendly, which means you won’t have to work up a sweat just trying to get inside. Seriously, finding a park that goes out of its way to be accessible is a breath of fresh air. Walking paths are well-kept, making the kid-friendly hikes genuinely fun and doable without turning it into an expedition.

For families traveling with children, Yo Amo a Mexico Park offers a playground and swings that are more than just standard fare. You get a chance to watch the little ones swing themselves silly or take a break at the basketball court, which adds a nice sporty vibe if you want to shoot hoops or just hang around watching local games. And hey, if you’re a dog lover, you’ll be happy to know pups are welcome here too — a rarity for many parks, so a big thumbs up in my book!

Though it’s generally a calm and friendly place, honest talk: a few visitors have found some aspects less than perfect — maybe some crowded weekends or occasional maintenance hiccups. But that just adds to the genuine, lived-in feel of the park. It ain’t a glossy showroom; it’s a community space where you can soak in the local atmosphere and the Sonoran sunshine.

In a city full of hustle, this park manages to be a solid, reliable spot where you can reconnect with nature, catch a bit of fresh air, and maybe run into a few locals who’ll greet you with a warm nod or a quick chat. Definitely a solid choice if you’re making your way through Ciudad Obregón and need a breather that’s more than a pit stop.
