—

## Location & Access

Your coordinates place the hotel in Nouadhibou (Dakhlet Nouadhibou region). Many listings reference Boulevard Maritime J25, which suggests a spot near the city’s coastal spine/road network rather than deep residential backstreets.

On Booking.com, guests rate the property’s location highly (location sub-score shown as 8.7 at the time the page was retrieved), which is useful because “good location” in a smaller city often means: straightforward navigation, easier taxi pickup, and less friction getting to the port/market areas.

—

## Rooms & Comfort

Here’s what is explicitly described (not guessed):

– Rooms are listed with flat-screen TV with satellite channels.
– Some rooms include a seating area.
– Guest comfort items explicitly mentioned include slippers, free toiletries, and a hairdryer.
– Booking.com’s category scores (snapshot) show relatively strong comfort (8.7) and value for money (8.6) at the time of retrieval.

Room types shown on Booking.com include Single Room, Small Double Room, Double Room, and Suite (availability varies by date).

## Amenities: What Is Actually Listed

Across major listings, you can confirm these recurring features:

– Free Wi-Fi (property-wide)
– Free private parking
– On-site bar
– 24-hour front desk / reception
– Airport shuttle is listed among “most popular amenities” on Booking.com.
– Non-smoking rooms and room service appear in Booking.com’s “most popular amenities.”

One useful point from a meta-aggregator: trivago explicitly states there is no pool area (and also indicates pets aren’t allowed)—helpful if those are deal-breakers.

## Is It a Good Extended-Stay Option?

Your dataset categorizes it as an extended stay hotel, but “extended stay” can mean different things depending on country and platform. What we can say from listings:

– Wi-Fi + parking + reception are clearly in place, which are core “longer stay” basics in a city where logistics matter.
– trivago’s amenity list includes items like laundry service and luggage storage, which are particularly relevant if you’re staying multiple nights.

What I cannot state as fact (because it isn’t consistently confirmed in the accessible sources above): whether rooms have kitchenettes, whether there’s an in-room fridge in every category, whether breakfast is included by default, or whether long-stay rates are offered. Treat those as questions to verify at booking.

## Reality Checks: Outdated Data to Verify

Because hotel data changes fast (ownership, staffing, renovation cycles, service levels), here are the items most likely to be outdated:

– Ratings & review counts change constantly.
– Booking.com showed a score of 8.4 based on 13 reviews at the time the page was retrieved.
– TripAdvisor positions it strongly within Nouadhibou’s smaller hotel set, but the exact ranking/score can shift as new reviews come in.

– Amenity availability can be seasonal or operational. “Airport shuttle,” “room service,” or even Wi-Fi quality can vary in practice; platforms list what properties say they offer.

If your dataset lists a 4.1 rating, treat that as a snapshot (platform-dependent) rather than a permanent truth.

## Who Should Stay Here

Based strictly on what’s listed and reviewed:

– Work trips / practical stays: You get the core stack—Wi-Fi, reception, parking, and straightforward room setup.
– People who want predictability over “character”: The listings emphasize comfort basics (TV, toiletries, staffed desk) more than boutique design or resort features.
– Anyone who doesn’t care about a pool: It’s explicitly called out as not offered on trivago.

—

## Bottom Line

HOtel Tasiast reads as a solid, logistics-friendly base in Nouadhibou: free Wi-Fi, free parking, a bar, and 24-hour reception show up consistently across major platforms.
If you’re choosing it as an “extended stay” option, the factual case rests on fundamentals (connectivity, access, services) rather than guaranteed apartment-style features—so confirm anything kitchen/laundry/meal-related directly in the booking details for your dates.
