Real talk – weekends are usually pretty packed here, especially Saturday afternoons. If you’re flexible, try booking a weekday slot, particularly Tuesday through Thursday evenings. The sweet spot is usually right after work hours, around 5-7 PM. During summer vacation and school holidays, you’ll definitely want to book at least a week in advance. Okay, here’s the inside scoop from someone who’s done their fair share of escape rooms. Wear comfortable clothes – you might need to crawl or reach into tight spaces. Skip the heels, ladies (learned that one the hard way). Bring your reading glasses if you need ’em – there are lots of clues to decipher.

For first-timers, I’d recommend starting with either The Attic or Brewery Heist – they’re challenging but not overwhelmingly difficult. If you’re bringing kids, Jurassic Labs tends to be a huge hit with the younger crowd. And please, eat before you come – there’s nothing worse than trying to solve puzzles while your stomach is doing its own sound effects!

Groups of 4-6 people seem to work best – enough minds to tackle different aspects of the puzzles, but not so many that you’re tripping over each other. And don’t be shy about asking for hints if you need them – the game masters are super helpful and won’t make you feel bad about needing a nudge in the right direction.
