1. Anchor idea: “Best things to do in Colima state”
– Place it right after the first mention of Villa de Álvarez, Colima.

2. Anchor idea: “Comala day trip guide (Pueblo Mágico and surrounding routes)”
– Place it in the section explaining the road junction and the direction toward Comala. Electoral

## Outdated-data & accuracy flags (what to double-check on arrival)

A few details are presented as facts by Mexico Desconocido, but public art and road infrastructure can change. If you’re publishing this as a field guide, I’d add a quick “verify on-site” note for:

– Installation date (reported as 2003) Desconocido
– Exact dimensions/weight claims (Mexico Desconocido includes specific figures; confirm if you’re going to quote them verbatim) Desconocido
– Pedestrian access (not confirmed in the sources above)

## Bottom line: why it’s worth a stop (even as a quick pass)

Glorieta de los Perritos Bailarines works because it’s doing two jobs at once:

– It’s a practical landmark embedded in everyday movement through the Colima–Villa de Álvarez corridor. Electoral
– It’s a cultural shorthand for Colima’s pre-Hispanic ceramic identity—specifically the tlalchichi/perritos colimotes motif—scaled up into public memory. Desconocido

If you like travel details that go beyond “photo spot,” this one is a clean example: a monument that’s not trying to be subtle, and doesn’t need to be.
