Best Time to Visit

From my experience (and trust me, I learned this the hard way), the best time to tackle Cerro de Espaldilla is during the dry season, which runs from December through April. The trails are less muddy then, and you’ll have better chances of clear views from the summit. But here’s a pro tip – try to get there early in the morning, like around 7 AM. Not only will you avoid the strongest heat of the day, but you’ll also have better chances of spotting wildlife.
