## Beat The Bomb Atlanta (Upper Westside): What to Know Before You Book

Address: 1483 Chattahoochee Ave NW, Atlanta, GA 30318. Tickets are sold online via the official site.

### Why it’s different from a typical escape room
Beat The Bomb isn’t puzzles-in-a-box. It’s a one-hour, private “Bomb Mission” where your team moves through five high-tech game rooms—earning time for a final attempt to disarm a Paint, Foam, or Slime Bomb. Miss the mark and you get blasted. Free photos & videos from the Bomb Room are included.

– Team size: Missions are built for 2–6 players (Arcade Battle is 3–12).
– Duration: 60 minutes for Bomb Missions (arrive 15 minutes early).
– Mission choices: Paint, Foam, or Slime (each with its own set of five rooms). White hazmat suits for Paint; black for Foam/Slime.
– Win rates (difficulty): Paint 21%, Foam 16%, Slime 5%. Expect to work.

### Where you’ll play (and what it feels like)
Expect motion-tracked movement games, multitouch screens, and cooperative pattern-recognition sequences on the way to Room 5 (the bomb room). Official mission pages highlight rooms like Sequencer, Crypto Laser, Floor Grid, and a final robot-driving or block-smashing challenge depending on mission.

### Practical basics (age, parking, bar, lockers)
– Age policy: 8+ to participate. Ages 8–9 must have an adult in the Mission; 10–16 can play without an adult in-room, but an adult must remain on-site. Under 18 need a guardian-signed waiver. Select sessions are 21+.
– Parking: The Atlanta location offers free on-site parking (per the official FAQ).
– Food & drinks: Atlanta features a full-service Bomb Bar with a food menu (Brooklyn is the only location without a full bar).
– Lockers & gear: Free lockers are provided; hazmat suits, booties, helmets, and face shields are included. Paint/foam are non-toxic; wear comfortable clothes and shoes.

### Accessibility & inclusivity notes
– Language: You don’t need to be fluent in English to enjoy the games; instructions are in English, but fluency isn’t required.

(If you have mobility, sensory, or other accessibility needs, contact the venue directly before booking; policies and accommodations aren’t fully detailed on the public FAQ.)

### Who will love it
– Teams & companies wanting fast, cooperative “we either win or get blasted” bonding.
– Families with older kids (8+) who like action-leaning, screen-based challenges rather than puzzle-locks.
– Competitive friend groups who want a private run and shareable video afterward.

### Strategy to improve your odds
– Balance roles early (pattern spotter, caller, mover, timer watcher). You’re earning seconds for the Bomb Clock—speed with accuracy wins. (Difficulty stats above show most teams fail; tighten communication.)
– Over-communicate in rooms like Sequencer & Crypto Laser. These are time drains if one person tries to do it all; rotate callers and runners so no one tunnels.
– Dress for heat & motion. Hazmat suits + movement can feel warm; hydrate at the bar before/after—not during.

### Booking pointers
– Private by default: You only play with the people you book with.
– Content packages: Expect free Bomb Room media delivered to your email/SMS; optional add-ons include an uncut 45-minute team video or a 90-second highlight reel (paid).
– Group size scaling: Online booking supports 2–12; larger groups go through the events team.
