This place looks so cool! I stumbled across similar archeoparks in Ukraine a few years back but never knew Czech Republic had such an immersive medieval experience. Has anyone tried the archery there? I’m notoriously terrible with anything requiring aim lol. Also wondering if the craftspeople let you keep what you make in the workshops? Like if I completely butcher a pottery attempt, can I take home my sad misshapen bowl as a souvenir? 😂
Planning to visit Eastern Europe next summer and thinking about adding this to my itinerary. For those who’ve been, is it worth allocating a full day, or is 2-3 hours really enough? And are those medieval festivals on predictable dates? Would absolutely love to time my visit with one of those – watching people clash swords in period-accurate gear is my jam!
